Marketing This is ground floor opportunity for the right person - a "Steve Jobs" of remote monitoring. The motivated individual will have hands-on experience in developing the market opportunities in instrumentation/ technology/ data products for a B2B customer base.
The right person will have some of the following skills/technology areas:
a market knowledge of an industry that would benefit from going wireless
experience in defining a marketing strategy for a new product
experience in working with distributors to reach end customers
ability to drive market testing, including making sales and developing a sales strategy/CRM for a new sales team
Experience in the following would be a plus
SCADA water utility systems
Outdoor instrumentation of any type
Structural health monitoring (bridges, buildings, sewers)
Viticulture
Long distance pipeline monitoring
Wireless sensor networks for any outdoor industry
Responsibilities:
To cultivate a wide variety of professional technology users and understand and capture what they desire from their next generation of un-tethered/wireless products
To be able to present potential new products/features and collect feedback
Develop a marketing plan
Be able to travel and work independently
